Modules

Divi Handoff provides four specialized modules designed to display content from SCF/ACF Pro Flexible Content layouts. These modules automatically bind to the current Flexible Content context, making it easy to build dynamic layouts.

Handoff Modules vs Standard Divi Modules​

Handoff modules are purpose-built for Flexible Content layouts:

  • Automatically detect available sub-fields from the current layout
  • Provide dropdown selection for field binding
  • Include built-in prefix and link options
  • Support dynamic font properties from fields

Standard Divi modules can also use Flexible Content data:

  • Use the Dynamic Content picker
  • Select "SCF / ACF Pro Flexible Content Fields"
  • Choose the desired sub-field
  • More configuration options, but requires manual Dynamic Content setup
When to Use Handoff Modules

Use Handoff modules when you want quick, automatic field binding with less configuration. Use standard Divi modules with Dynamic Content when you need advanced customization or features not available in Handoff modules.

Handoff Text Module​

Displays text content from SCF/ACF sub-fields with support for:

  • Multiple HTML tag options (h1-h6, p, div, span)
  • Prefix text and icons
  • Link configuration (static or from field)
  • Dynamic font properties from fields

Displays images from SCF/ACF image sub-fields with support for:

  • Multiple image sizes
  • Alt text configuration
  • Link wrapping options
  • Lightbox functionality

Handoff Video Module​

Displays videos from SCF/ACF sub-fields with support for:

  • URL-based video embedding
  • Player controls configuration
  • Autoplay, loop, and muted options

Loops through repeater sub-fields with support for:

  • Grid and list layouts
  • Carousel/slider display (using Slick.js)
  • Nested content rendering
