Page Setup

Setting up a page with Divi Handoff involves three main components: creating your field structure, building visual layouts, and configuring your pages.

1. Create Field Groups

Choose your custom fields plugin and follow the appropriate guide:

Which Should I Use?

SCF (Secure Custom Fields) is recommended for most users. It's free and includes Flexible Content functionality. ACF Pro is a good choice if you already have a license or need ACF-specific features.

2. Create Divi Handoff Layouts

Once your field groups are ready, create the visual layouts:

3. Configure Pages

After creating layouts, configure your pages:

  • Enable Divi Handoff on the page
  • Select which Handoff Layout to use for each Flexible Content row
  • Configure header, footer, and sidebar visibility
