Settings
Divi Handoff provides three types of settings to give you complete control over how Flexible Content layouts are rendered and displayed.
Settings Types
Page-Level Settings
Control Divi Handoff behavior on individual pages. These settings appear in the Divi Handoff Setting meta box when editing any page or post.
Page-level settings allow you to:
- Enable or disable Divi Handoff for the current page
- Show or hide the sidebar
- Override header and footer visibility
- Control page content display and position

Layout Mapping Settings
Connect your Divi Handoff Layouts to SCF/ACF Pro Flexible Content layouts. These settings appear in the Divi Handoff Layout Mapping meta box when editing a Divi Handoff Layout.
Layout mapping allows you to:
- Associate a Divi layout with a specific Flexible Content layout type
- Create multiple visual variations for the same content structure
- Organize your layouts for easy selection

Global Settings
Configure plugin-wide defaults and advanced options. Access these from Divi Engine → Divi Handoff in the WordPress admin menu.
Global settings include:
- Default header and footer visibility
- Page content display preferences
- Sidebar position and widget display
- Layout injection points
- User role permissions
- Demo content import

Settings Priority
When the same setting exists at multiple levels, here's how they're applied:
- Page-level settings take highest priority when explicitly set
- "Use Plugin Setting" option defers to global settings
- Global settings provide defaults for all pages
For example, if you set Hide Header to "Show" on a specific page, that page will show the header even if the global setting hides headers.
