Prepare your website
Follow these guidelines to optimize your website with Divi Nitro.
Understanding Challenges
Websites built with Divi and Divi Engine, like any other website software, may encounter issues or bugs due to the nature of WordPress. While we strive to minimize these occurrences, they are an inevitable part of website development. We appreciate your patience and assure you that our team is working diligently to provide solutions.
Tips for Reducing Issues
Consider implementing the following steps to minimize potential problems:
- Optimize your website for compatibility with Divi and Divi Engine by selecting compatible software and tools.
- Limit the number of plugins installed on your website to minimize conflicts. We recommend using no more than 5-8 plugins.
- Avoid using caching plugins, and instead utilize a third-party Content Delivery Network (CDN) like Cloudflare for caching purposes.
- Disable all non-essential plugins during the development phase.
- Navigate to Divi > Theme Options > Builder > Advanced and disable Divi Static CSS File Generation.
- Turn off Divi performance options related to JQuery, CSS, JS (Javascript), and dynamic modules in Divi > Theme Options.
- Refresh the permalink structure by saving it twice. Go to Settings > Permalinks > Save.
- Remove any redundant or conflicting custom CSS that might interfere with Divi Nitro.
- Choose a reliable server provider, such as Cloudways, to host your Divi website and ensure automatic backups.
