Filter By Category

Introduction

Follow these steps to learn how to filter by category.

Step 1: Add A New Filter

Add a New Filter and customize it. Set the Admin Filter Name as something like Category, what you would like to filter as Category, the Post Type as the Post Type that you would like to filter (e.g. Product, Posts, etc.) and the Filter Type as Select or Checkbox/Radio Buttons. This is enough to get the Category filter working as long as you have set up the Archive Loop correctly.

Customize your Category Filter further in the Category Filter Options section. Here you can set your filter to display only parent categories or only subcategories, etc.
