Prepare your website​

  • Use a staging copy of the site while you build loops and filters.
  • In Divi → Theme Options → Builder → Advanced, consider turning off Static CSS File Generation while developing so you see style changes immediately.
  • Flush permalinks: Settings → Permalinks → Save twice after adding custom post types or taxonomies.
  • If you use caching or optimization plugins, exclude logged-in users or the builder while testing archive and AJAX behavior.

  • Modules in the sidebar — Divi 5 groups first, then Divi 4 legacy pages if you need them.
