Divi 5 first
Module references on this site focus on Divi 5. Divi 4 how-tos remain under Modules → Divi 4.
Overview
On Divi 5, add Divi Protect from the Visual Builder folder Divi Protect. The module chooses which Protect Section to show. Passwords, cookies, and form text stay on the Protect Section.

You can place the same section with its unique shortcode in a Code module. Example: [members_area]. The shortcode name is set on the Protect Section Password tab.
How it fits together
- Create the hidden layout under Divi Engine → Protect Sections.
- Set the password and unique shortcode.
- Add Divi Protect on the page and set Select your Protected Section.
