Custom loop item modules

Divi 5 only

Post Thumbnail and Post Title are loop item modules. Place them inside a library layout used by Archive Loop.

When to use loop item modules​

Built-in loop styles cover common cards. When you need branded cards, mixed meta, or linked titles, build a Divi Library layout and insert loop item modules where dynamic post data should appear.

Ajax filtering keeps the same layout; only the post list changes.

Thumbnail module​

Use Post Thumbnail for featured images, aspect ratio, overlays, and link behavior. Match image size to your grid columns so filtered results stay visually consistent.

Post Title module​

Use Post Title for heading level, link to single post, and typography separate from body text in the same card.

Workflow​

  1. Create or edit a library layout for one loop item.
  2. Add Post Thumbnail and Post Title (and any other Divi modules).
  3. On the page, set Archive Loop to that library layout.
  4. Point Filter Posts at the same loop instance.
