Performance and conditional loading

Go to Divi Engine → Divi BodyCommerce → Performance for plugin loading options.

BodyCommerce 10.0.0 loads storefront scripts and styles only when a feature is enabled and the page needs them, including Divi 5 modules. Keep unused features disabled; this reduces work more safely than manually dequeuing plugin files.

Feature-specific choices​

  • Mini cart: load cart contents when the shopper first opens it.
  • Gallery: show video and 360 media as a still image, then activate it when tapped.
  • Product loops: prefer ready-made Loop Templates over a full Divi Library layout repeated for every product.
  • Wishlist and Compare: keep assets off non-store pages unless the controls appear in a Theme Builder header or another site-wide layout.

After changing loading settings, clear page/CDN caches and test while logged out. Visit a product, shop, cart, checkout, account page, and any global header containing cart, wishlist, compare, or search controls.

Do not combine or defer BodyCommerce files by guessed handles. If an optimization plugin causes a problem, first exclude the affected script from that optimizer and confirm the feature works with BodyCommerce's own conditional loading.
