Using the User List Module in Divi Membership

The User List module in Divi Membership is a powerful tool for displaying a list of users registered on your website. Ideal for creating user directories or community lists, this module offers flexibility in how user data is presented and managed.

Main Options

  1. Loop Style: Choose how to display the user loop
    1. Loop Templates: Select from pre-built layouts that offer a quick setup with minimal customization options.
    2. Custom Loop Layout: Create a personalized layout within the Divi Library using any Divi Module along with the User Item module for dynamic user profile information.
  2. No Users Layout: Define a Divi Library layout to display when there are no users to show. If no layout is selected, a default message will be displayed.
  3. No Users Text: Set the text that appears when there are no users to display. This message helps maintain a good user experience even when user data is absent.

Loop Options

  1. User Role: Filter the user list by specific roles. By default registered users are assigned a subscriber role however this can be changed within the Registration module settings.
  2. Display Type: Choose how users should be displayed based on their membership status.
    1. Default: Shows all registered users.
    2. Members: Displays only users who are enrolled in membership plans.
      1. Member Plans: Select the member plan.
    3. Linked: Shows users linked to a specific post through an ACF field.
      1. Linked ACF Name: Select the ACF field.
  3. User Limit: Set the maximum number of users to display in the loop.
  4. Specific Users: Enter a comma-separated list of user IDs that must be included.
  5. Exclude Users: Enter a comma-separated list of user IDs to exclude from the loop.
  6. Include ACF Field & Value: If you want to display users with specific ACF Field values, specify the field and the corresponding value here.
  7. Sort Order: Arrange the user list based on specific user meta fields.
  8. Order: Choose between ascending or descending order for displaying users.

Grid Options

  1. Columns: Set the number of columns for the user grid on different device sizes to ensure a responsive design.
  2. Custom Gutter Gaps: Adjust the spacing between rows and columns to achieve the desired layout aesthetics.

Loop Template Options

  1. Avatar Size: Adjust the size of user avatars displayed in the loop.
  2. Name Display: Select the format for displaying user names.
  3. Website Text: Set the text that links to the user’s website, enhancing the connectivity of the community.

Additional Tips

  1. Regular Updates: Keep user roles and permissions updated to reflect changes in your community or organization.
  2. Engagement: Use the module to encourage interaction among users by making community members more visible and accessible.
  3. Testing: Regularly test the functionality of the user list on various devices to ensure that all users have a consistent and engaging experience.
