Field Settings

Overview

Field settings control validation, behavior, and appearance of individual form fields. In Divi 5, these are configured per field in the Form module’s Content tab under each field’s options.

Where to find field settings (Divi 5)

1. Open the page in the Divi 5 Visual Builder.
2. Select the Form module.
3. In the Content tab, expand the form and click a field to edit it.
4. Use Field Options (or the field’s sections) for required, autocomplete, conditional logic, and layout.

Verify your field settings

1. Save the page and open the form on the front end.
2. Test the field behavior you changed:
   • For autocomplete, confirm your browser shows suggestions.
   • For conditional logic, confirm the dependent field shows/hides at the right time.
3. Submit a test entry to confirm validation still works as expected.
