Select2

The Select2 feature enhances the standard dropdown in Divi Form Builder by providing a searchable, user-friendly dropdown interface. This is particularly useful when you have a long list of options, allowing users to quickly find and select the desired option.

Step 1: Enable Select2 Form Settings

To start, you need to enable the Select2 feature within the form’s main settings. Enabling this option at the form level makes Select2 available to be applied to individual dropdown fields.

1. Open the Form Builder Module.
2. Navigate to Form Settings and scroll down to the Extra section.
3. Toggle the Enable Select2 for your Select Options option to activate Select2 functionality for this form.

Step 2: Type Select Dropdown

1. In the Form Builder, add a new field to your form.
2. Set up the Field Title, Admin Title, and a unique Field ID.
3. In the Type dropdown, select Select Dropdown.
4. Enter your list of options for the dropdown, which users will see when interacting with the form.

Step 3: Enable Select2 Form Field

1. Open the settings for the newly created Select Dropdown field.
2. Scroll down to the Layout section.
3. Enable Select2 to apply the enhanced dropdown style to this field.
