Bloom integration

Overview

Bloom integration adds a subscribe checkbox to a form and sends the name and email to a Bloom email list when the form is submitted.

Setup

  1. Install and activate Bloom, then connect an email provider and create a list. Follow Bloom’s setup guide.
  2. On the form, add the fields you want to send (an email field is required; first name and last name are optional). Note each field’s Field ID.
  3. Select the Form module and open the Content tab.
  4. Open Extra Options and turn on Enable Bloom Subscription.
  5. Set these fields:
    • Bloom Email Field ID — Field ID of the email field
    • Bloom Name Field ID — Field ID of the first name field, if you have one
    • Bloom Last Name Field ID — Field ID of the last name field, if you have one
    • Bloom Email List — the list from Bloom
    • Bloom Subscribe Text — the checkbox label visitors see
  6. Optional:
    • Check Subscribe by Default — checkbox starts checked
    • Make Subscribe Required — the form cannot submit until the box is checked
    • Bloom Required Message and Bloom Required Message Position — shown when the required checkbox is empty

Bloom Email List stays on None until Bloom has a connected account with at least one list.

Verify it works

  1. Save the page and submit the form from the frontend with the subscribe box checked.
  2. Confirm the address appears on the Bloom list.
  3. If the checkbox is required, submit with it unchecked and confirm the required message appears.

What's Next

  • Configure Email confirmation for opt-in follow-up.
  • Configure Notices so users understand subscription outcomes.
  • Continue with Webhooks for additional downstream automations.
