Email confirmation
Overview
Email confirmation sends an automatic response to the person who submitted the form.
Setup
- Open the page in the Visual Builder.
- Select the Form module and open the Content tab.
- Open Email Settings and select the Confirmation tab.
- Turn on Enable Confirmation Email.
Then set:
- Send To — Sender (a field on the form) or Logged In User.
- Sender Email Field — Field ID of the email field. Shown when Send To is Sender. The form needs that email field.
- From Name — Site Title, Sender, or Custom. Sender asks for Sender Name Field ID. Custom asks for Custom From Name.
- From Email — Admin or Custom. Custom asks for Custom From Email.
- Reply-To Name and Reply-To Email — optional reply address.
- Email Subject — subject line of the confirmation.
- Is Full HTML Template — turn on when the body is a full HTML document.
- Email Template — the message body. Use
%%field_id%%placeholders for submitted values.
