Webhooks

Overview

Webhooks send the submission to an external URL, such as a CRM, an automation tool, or a custom endpoint. Zapier can use this URL.

Setup

1. Open the page in the Visual Builder.
2. Select the Form module and open the Content tab.
3. Open Extra Options.
4. Turn on Send data to Webhook.
5. Enter the destination in Webhook URL.

Submit a test entry and check the endpoint log. Try an empty optional field, a long answer, and a value with special characters.

Verify it works

• Endpoint receives payload on successful submission.
• Expected field IDs and values are present.
• Failure handling is documented and monitored.

What's Next

• Align Field mapping so payload keys are predictable.
• Use Save to database for local fallback visibility.
• Configure Spam protection to reduce webhook noise.
